Imagine being able to save someone’s life by donating not once, but twice! Well, Wilmarie Cronje doesn’t have to imagine, as she was able to donate twice and in the process changed the course of someone’s life who desperately needed a stem cell transplant for their second chance at life. Wilmarie from Cape Town joined the SABMR in 2013 and went on to have a baby shortly after her second donation – showing that being a donor has no impact on your health whatsoever. She is extremely passionate about encouraging people to become donors. Wilmarie has since emigrated to Namibia where people can also register to be SABMR donors and potentially save a life.
